To fully exhibit the IPR protection achievements of China in 2006, to publicize IPR protection work and to cooperate with The National IPR Week 2007 and China High-level Forum on Intellectual Property Rights Protection 2007, the website Intellectual Property Protection in China (IPR in China) will launch the election of 2006 Top Ten IPR Protection Events in China together with related media, such as Youth.cn, China.org.cn, CCTV.com, Sina.com, etc..
The website Intellectual Property Protection in China, in association with related media, such as Youth.cn, China.org.cn, CCTV.com, Sina.com, etc., has officially started up Volunteer Action on IPR Protection to recruit volunteers of IPR protection from the whole society, so as to enhance the consciousness of the whole society for IPR protection and create a better environment for IPR protection.
The proposal for the Manual was made at the Overseas IPR Tug-of-war of the famous live show Dialogue in CCTV-2, which was broadcast on November 19, 2006. Authorized by the program Dialogue the compilation of the Manual has been incorporated in the framework of 2007 High-level Forum on IPR Protection which is hosted by the Organizing Committee of The National IPR Week 2007.
In line with the China High-Level Forum on Intellectual Property Rights Protection 2007, the State Office of Intellectual Property Protection initiated an article solicitation on topic of IPR Protection & Enterprise Competitiveness together with Theory Front, the website of Intellectual Property Protection in China and the Center for Studies of Intellectual Property Rights of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
