On March 1, 2006, the Measures for IPR Protection at Trade Shows was promulgated with a view to increasing IPR protection awareness and intensifying IPR enforcement efforts during trade shows.
On May 29, 2006, Ministry of Commerce, General Administration of Customs, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, National Copyright Administration, State Intellectual Property Office, and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade jointly staged the campaign entitled Operation Blue Sky across the country.
A series of activities have been launched to upgrade China's IPR protection at trade shows. These activities include distributing materials, urging exhibition organizers to provide field guidance on making complaints, providing training to people employed in the exhibition industry and organizing symposiums for people to share their IPR protection experience.
All relevant law enforcement departments, especially Service Centers for IP Protection(12312), send people with professional expertise to provide on-the-spot services at trade shows. |
