It is learnt from Jiangxi Provincial Intellectual Property Office on February 1 that, 11 provincial IP pilot enterprises and units passed summary examination.

All the 11 pilot units established IP management system, confirmed staff and institutions, and arranged special funds. The patent applications of the 11 pilot units in 2007, 2008, 2009 were respectively 66, 78, and 140; the annual average increase rate was 48.83%, of which the growth rate was 79.48% in 2009. The pilot units newly implemented 247 patents during the pilot period, and gains a revenue of 4.1 billion yuan through the implementation of patented technologies, sales of products containing patented technologies, patent licensing and transfer and fighting against patent infringement.
